Scytale: The Cryptographer’s Golden Baton
After pondering what type of language would surpass my own, I valiantly support an early cryptographer’s choice, scytale. Scytale, a form of secret language from early Roman time, would be better than English because it can be transported easily without fear of interception. In fact, the message handler could easily wear it on their body as a belt or to hold their supplies. Unlike other secret languages, it would not need to be concealed. Fortunately, it is easily used and read by each party involved. The only necessary tool would be a staff of the same size and diameter in order to accurately decipher the message.
Undeniably, this method of sending message is above the rest because the message can use multiple lines so communication is not limited. Letters typically extend to four lines of five letters each, depending on the length of the cylindrical stick. In order to pass on a secret message in English, sustaining secrecy is a significant issue. Without a doubt, scytale, is a form of communication that is organized, and highly-secret, yet visible without concern of deciphering the message. Without an identical “golden baton,” you are just out-of-luck!
I disagree because the scytale is not the only fearless way. I think you should use the Navajo language because it was used by people who knew it and the people who knew this Navajo language were code talkers and all the code talkers fought in the U.S. marines war with the marines.
I disagree with you because I think the best one is morsse code because it is helping people that can not see. all it is doing is making blind people have a new life. I think that the person that made morse code should be aworded.
But, what happens if it is an urgent message? Will that not take a long time to determine the message to the point to where the person took to long that the message failed, and the person failed?
I disagree I would rather use the Underground Railroad because you don't have to talk. You use wall hangers to talk to people.
It would be better to say the Novajo code because it is very secret and some people don't know it means.
I think the Navajo language would be better than any other language to communicate a secret message and here is why I think that. My first reason is that Philip Johnston thought of the idea to use the Navajo language for secure communications. My second reason to use the Navajo language is that Philip Johnston knew that the Navajo language.
Adding On- that the Native American's language Choctaw was used in world war one to encode messages. My final reason for using the Navajo code instead of any other is because all the Navajo code talkers took part in every attack the U.S. marines were in. That is why I would use the Navajo language instead of any other language.
Do you ever need to communicate something secretly, but do not know how? Well, here is a bright idea! Use the Underground Railroad! It is a much better way to communicate something without anyone knowing! You do not need to talk, but it does have code words and phrases! It uses everyday jobs so it will not cause suspicion. You can hang a quilt on your window which means that people in trouble can come in your house for safety. So, the Underground Railroad is a great way to communicate a message secretly without causing any skepticism! You never know, you might need it someday!
I disagree with you. I think you should use the Navajo language because it was used in world war one and all the code talkers knew this language but also they fought with the U.S. marines.
I agree with you because I think it is good thing you don't have to talk to people. You use wall hanger to talk to people.
But, not many people know how to speak the language, so only very few people could use the code.
I think it would be the Ceaser Cipher code because it is was
After thinking about a code that's better than English, I picked the Ceaser Cipher code. I would use the Ceaser Cipher code it is easy to remember. It is easy to remember because you use our alphabet, and then go three letters further .Also, it seems cool to all my friends that I can memorize a code. Even though it is so easy to memorize. The people that don't know the code, would not understand it. So you could send messages to your friends without anybody knowing what your saying . That is why I picked the Ceaser Cipher code as a language that's better than English to send a seceret massage.
Now that I have read what you think I may have changed my mind. I never thought about using the alphabet in that code. l still ponder if I should change my code from the Navajo code to the Caesar Cipher code.
Have you ever had a code with your friends? I want to persuade you why the Morse code is a better way to pass a secret code because you can use it and your worst enemies will never know! First, the Morse code was created because the wanted to represent the letters of the alphabet using patterns of long and short pulses. It was created in the 1840s. It is a system of telegraphy invented by Samuel Finley Breese Morse. Now you know how to use the Morse code and never have your enemy fin out!
I disagree with you because if you used the Navajo code because it was used in world war one.
Have you ever tried to tell your sister or brother a secret but can't ? I think the Underground Railroad code is a better way to pass a message than English because you now can with the Underground Railroad. You don't have to talk. You have to talk with wall hangers the hangers mean come in or don't come in. It is better than English because only a few people know the Underground Railroad in the United States. Now you can tell secrets with your sister or brother, and no one will know.
I disagree with you I think you should do the Navajo language because you do talk and I would rather speak than not speak. This is why I disagree with you.
I think I would still do the Ceaser Cipher code because it would be easy to remember and I don't want to use up time to transport the scytale.
The secret language of Navajo is better than English because the Navajo code was never written down. It would also be better than English because the message would be transported by a human instead of a script or paper. I also think it's better because the message can be sent over radio or radar and the enemy would never know what it meant. The final reason I think the Navajo code is better than English is because the Navajo code is random animals or objects for each letter. The Navajo is very hard to crack and I think it is a better language to send a secret message by than English.
I think that it is really good
You need an intro sentence.
I think Ceasars Cipher is to better than English to pass a secret message because it is easy to understand. There are 25 possible combinations to understand vs. 1000 words, with 1000 words with vocab you don't understand. Its easier to understand 25 combos. It only has 25 combos so you don't get lost. Also you can change it when ever you want. That is why Ceasaes Cipher is better than using English.
Thanks for saying how many combinations there are
I think the best language to pass on a secret message is the Navajo language because, the Navajo code talkers took part in every assault the U.S. marines connected in the pacific from 1942 to 1945 and if you want to talk secretly you can. so your teacher or your family will not no what your saying. the good thing about it is that people will try to find out what you are saying but, guess what they want. when people are trying to figure it out you can tell them its something else. So they will not figure it out. So then you can prank them and it will drive people nuts. Another good thing would be that you can say whatever, whenever, and wherever you like. So that is why I choose the Navajo Code for the language I think people would like to pass on a secret message.
The Ceaser Cipher is the best type of cipher. It is simple because if you turn the inner wheel 3 spaces you write all the letters on the outside as the inside wheel. It is also handy because it is small and can have 25 different combinations. It is also handy because you ca change it up whenever you want. This is why the Ceaser Cipher is the best secret language.
good job explaining
I agree with you because I did the exact same code as you.
Morse code is better then all of the other codes because there are a couple was to do it as in tones, flashing lights and beeps. So if you want to send a message use morse code.
Have you ever had a secret code with your friends? Well, I did and I got busted. I have to persuade you to use Morse code instead of English. Morse code was made in 1840, wow that was along time ago. The reason for the creation of Morse code is to represent the letters of the alphabet using patterns of long and short pulses. Morse code was created by Samuel Finley Breese in the United States. I hope I persuaded you to use Morse code for secret messages and to learn something new.
I disagree with you because Ceaser Cipher code because it is secretive and bearly anyone knows the Ceaser Cipher code.
I like how you show expression and then I agree to use the moorse code.
I think you did a great job! You informed us very well and were descriptive about the Morse Code. =D
The Ceaser Cipher is more secretive than English English because only the few with the cipher can unlock its riches. It is also better than English because only the one with turn can also unlock its riches.
How does the cipher code unlock riches?
I've been thinking about a code that I want to pick and I picked the Ceasar Cipher code. Why I would pick it is that it is very easy to remember and your teacher will never now what you are saying. It is also was used in the war and it helped them win war to. That is why I picked the Ceasar Cipher code.
I think that the Ceaser Cipher Code is a good code to communicate better than English because it has all the letters of the alphabet. If you wanted to send a letter you can use the letters and I could read it.Thats Why I put the Cipher Code as a argument of code to rather use.
I think the Navajo code was a great way to pass secret messages instead of using English. The Navajo code is a secret language that Marines used this language because it was their normal language . I couldn't be able to tell you when the Navajo language was created because Indians used it as their language. It's like your normal language that you speak might be English or Spanish the Indians spoke Navajo. The Navajo Code was created by Indians but most Marines used it to send secret messages or communicate during wars. That's why I think it's better to use the Navajo Code for secret messages instead of English.
The Morse code can do many amazing things like to use it just to send your own secret message to the person you want it to go to so then they can read it!
The Morse code is all awesome so then you can be able to have the other people can read it so they can read the letter that you have put on the secret message you wrote to them!
This is all about the Morse code and how you can send the secret messages to the person you want it to go to!
Hey B-22 same with me, I had a secret code with my sister for one month, and got busted by my parents it was a bad! Anyways, the busted thing doesn't madder, Morse code madders. Morse code was created by Samuel Finley Breese in the United States. Uuummmm, Morse code was made in 1840, what 174 years Morse has been going on wow. Well it's time to go but I hope I persuaded you in Morse code.
After hitting myself in the head about witch code is better than English, I chose the Caesar Cipher. Sure it's old [ it was made some where in between 100 B.C and 44 B.C. to be exact ] , but it took hundreds of years for the first guy to crack it. Julius Caesar created it to pass war signals. Most important, most people in the world don't the Caesar Cipher mainly because they have not discovered it. Here's how it works, it's just as if the alphabet was shifted over three spaces. For example, A is C, B is D, and C is E. That's the code known by few, DUN, DUN, DUNNNNNN!
One chivalrous man + crazy teacher + two amazing kids = Happy Weimer Home! :)Fab forties! :DTraveled to 13+ countries singing in front of crowds of people!
